earth! My wife, Priscilla, and I moved to south central Colorado from Denver seeking refuge from the hectic and stressful pace of city life.
We simply could not bear to sit in hour-long traffic jams any longer.
It only took one visit to the Cucharas Valley to fall in love with it and make La Veta our home.
Every day we enjoy panoramic mountain views, clean rivers and lakes,
fresh air, sunshine (almost every day),
abundant wildlife, plenty of open space to explore, recreation and a community of warm and friendly people.
